Safe Homes for Safe Kids was established with the goal of educating children and families about safety in the home and on the streets. We are a non-profit organization based in Greenville, SC.

Sonya Skidmore, the mother of two young children and the Director of Sales and Marketing of Advantage Inspection and Advantage Home Warranty, founded Safe Homes for Safe Kids. Her company provides home safety checklists to families using the company’s home inspection services and her goal was to bring this invaluable information to children everywhere.

"If we can provide the education and tools children need to be safe in this world today, then we have done what we set out to accomplish", Skidmore told Upstate Parent magazine in a recent article written by Chris Worthy a contributing writer for the Greenville News.
